A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

I would suggest searching for an English-only chat room that is on a topic you are interested in; for example, books, movies, sports, etc., and going to it often to talk about your topic of interest. It might also be a good idea to find a chat room that is specifically for people who speak other languages than English who want to practice like you do. You could read a book on the subject, but experience might be the easiest way. From what I hear, English is the hardest language to learn on Earth, other than Icelandic, so good luck, my friend!

Watching TV particularly with the closed-caption option is a good way to improve your spoken English since you'll hear the words spoken and see them written out as well. Also if you have the
opportunity to listen to tapes - you hear the words, you repeat them, and then try using them outside your own mind - like in
a grocery store, for instance.

Watching English spoken, by native English speakers is very helpful. It increases your vocabualry, and you can be aware of he context of what is being said. It helps one detect sarcasm, for instance, or irony. One can also watch the facial expressions and gestures, for additional meaning and nuance.

Speaking, face to face with native English speakers is even better. One has all of the advantages mentioned, plus, one can get immediate feedback if a choice of words seems improper, or, otherwise misunderstood, One also has the opportunity to ask direct questions about usage and idioms.

Either of these choices is better than simple audio recordings or the written word. However, I do recommend reading English as often as possible in order to increase one's vocabulary.

You need to contact a very good English Teacher and not the ones who advertise in papers because all they teach is grammar which is not very helpful, you need to listen and talk in English and I know of a very good teacher in Mumbai and her number is 9870027700.

The BEST way (and usually the most uncomfortable) is too just have a conversation with native speakers. Another way is to read books outloud to yourself or get books on tape and listen to them repeating what they say as they say it.
