There's really no point in taking more than one multivitamin a day. You can't really overdose on any of the water soluble vitamins and two pills a day probably wouldn't give you near enough of the fat-soluble vitamins to worry about overdose, but your body will just excrete what it can't use. And while small doses of some nutrients are good, larger doses sometimes have paradoxical effects (zinc is an example... a small amount can boost your immune system, too much can actually depress it.) Multivitamins are just meant to support your diet. If you want to give yourself a boost, pick a good multi for your needs and then make sure that you're eating well. Most of your nutrition needs to come from your diet, not from a bottle.

Silly Idea. Vitamins can only be taken once a day. 2 can harm u. Acne can break out do to the iodine levels of 2 pills. Some other factors come in too.

Most vitamins you cannot overdose on, but you may get some adverse side effects. Keep in mind though, your body can only absorb a certain amount of most vitamins before it begins to urinate the excess out. It would probably be a waste of money. Find a good one-a-day vitamin which has the right amounts of each vitamin that your body can absorb.

You can overdose on the fat soluble vitamins, A,D & E, but this is unlikely. Vitamins won't give you a boost unless you're vitamin deficient. Get a nutrition book or go to a registered dietatician for advice on good nutrition.

Despite of what other people are saying on here, you can indeed overdose on vitamins. Your body makes all the vitamins and minerals you need except vitamin C which you can get from citris fruit, strawberries etc. If you feel low it may be iron you are lacking but only a blood test will tell you that.

Just be sure to take them with food. You might get a little nauseated, but likely not. You will excrete the excess. The entire vitamin never gets fully absorbed anyway.
Your best bet is 1 multivitamin, and a separate calcium supplement.

Taking two is simply not needed. The daily average has already been calculated and measured in the dosage. Your body will cast away and not use any extra. You may even feel a little more fatigued.
If you are young, and I suspect you are, eat proper (stay off the junk food), exercise daily, get proper rest and you will be fine. If your body is healthy, you don't need any of those extra body enhancers or supplements. Your body is a machine which knows what it needs to do to sustain itself. You do your part and it will certainly do its part.
Have a healthy life.

It's probably not going to hurt you, but it's probably is silly. They design these pills to supplement your nutrition intake.
I would find other ways to "give yourself a boost". Not sure exactly in what capacity you need a boost, but depending on what it is you can make other changes to either your daily activities, exercise routine, or vitamin intake.

its not dangerous put it is pointless your body will just excreat the excess which it dose with all the vitamins you get in over the rda when only taking one
eg if your vit pill has 100% rda of vit a and then you eat some thing with vit a in your body gets rid of the stuff it dosnt need so there is realy no point of taking two
