Depending on where you live, Whole Foods or any market that has a lot of organic/vegetarian products could be a good bet. ...I would try Whole Foods because it's big enough to have products like pectin when only a few people make jam at home, and virtuous enough that I would expect if they carry pectin it's probably vegetarian, organic and kosher.

we live in a small town and our local grocery has many kosher products. i was surprised by how many seeing as how this is not a jewish community.

If you happen to live in New York there should be plenty of stores there.
