you can insure your ring with your house insurance. just make sure that you insure it using the replacemnt value...many people make the mistake of buying retail and insuring it for that amount....foolish i say!

If everyone did that and out of tht bunch there are greedy people, then anyone can lose thier ring and get a bigger one. But it doesn't work that way. The insurance company will only give you enough money to buy another ring of the same value.

for example....ring....$5000.00 (retail)
insurance rate for $5000.00 = $20.00 per month
OOOPS you lose it...
Insurance complany says..."what kinda diamond is it?..ok, we'll give you $3,500.00 to replace it"

So they just suckered you in to buying insurance at 5000.00 when all you needed was $3500.00 which could be only $12.00 per month

You end up buying all that insurance up for nothing..

Good Luck...oh and by the way...dont let anyone tell you different...they are wrong and want your money!!!
