Absolutely! Oftentimes, people will tell you to buy more expensive shoes because they are made better, but I will not tell you that. I think you should just look up some information online about back pain and what can be done to eleviate it. In some cases, it might mean throwing out that comfy flimsy shoes for some nice walking sneakers, but in other cases, it might mean you go and treat yourself to a nice massage!

Yes, low back pain and heel pain. People don't often address heel pain until they have it. Good shoes with support for the arch and the heel should be worn 90% of the time. I say that, because I'm barefoot when I can be safely.

Shoes with improper arch support changes your spine alignment, therefore leading to back pain.
Get plastic arch supports and rid your back of pain. They're available at fine stores near you.
(do I sound like an infomercial???)

Yes, in fact Podiatrists hate for people to wear flip-flops or other shoes that flop around on the foot. They alter the way you walk, into a way that makes your body misaligned. They also offer no support.
