Depends on the meat, and how it's prepped. Wild hog should be soaked in ice water, milk, or Italian dressing overnight to get rid of the gamey flavor, then smoked (over mesquite, of course). I've had deer roast marinaded in red wine, and it was quite tastey. Small game, like rabbit and squirrel, are good just as they are, maybe a little salt & pepper.

Beats anyting that comes out of the grocery store, that's for sure.

I don't think so. I think it taste to gamey to me. I do like processed deer though as long as it has seasoning in it.
