I ask this because I'm real confused about church today, Jesus say one bady only, why some church is only black people some only white some only chine and on and on, why we don't mix, if the poeple of the world mix. than we say will go to heaven with racist hearts, I'm so sad about you God will destroy you all, If you don't love one another, racism came from devil, I know some people go to church because of the color and are not worship God, they are worshiping they color, how sad is that. your pastors are your gods, you go because of what color he have. are you call yourself believer like this?

I am a bible believing Christain, and there is only white people in the community that my church is in, so therefore it is a mostly white church. I have many black friends that I went to school with or worked with and attend their all-black churches when I get a chance. There is a difference between demographics and racism. That is like going to a retirement community and saying they are discriminating based on age. And we are to follow our pastors because they are the shephards that God has put in place for us. If they are doing something that is not God-like, then we should have no reason not to follow them.

I wonder the same thing. All white churches, all black churches. I know it has a lot to do with being comfortable with your surroundings. If the truth is being preached by an ANOINTED preacher then that should be enough comfort.
This is one of the reasons I am not attending any church right now. People need to get real and stand for truth.

Look into a Unity Church. I have been in the same place asking different questions, but about the same confusion. My discomfort was that "if we have such a great God then why do so many innocent children get abused, hurt and killed by family members or even their parents? But the preaching of -Nova Spiritus (Sylvia Browne) or the preachings of the Science of Religion (Louise Hay) actually make sense to me. Just something to look into. Good luck and hard question.

The Church is the body of people that believe that Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead. These believers are in many local churches. Some "churches" are not biblical. They are not believers. Some are racist.
I go to church to worship Jesus. I worship with all races in a Baptist church.

People make up all kind if things. In there ignorance they some times preach hate toward others, because they are different. Religion is very intolerance to people with other opinions, look at the middle east, Ireland, etc. With better education and respect the world will become a better place. Anyone and everyone is welcome in my church. There is a line in the Casting Crown's song If We Are The Body that says it all: Jesus paid much too high a price for us to pick and choose who should come.

I can't say it is all true for everyone, but yea, I wish everyone could be more comfortable worshipping God with other races.
