My 13 year old grandson who is in the 7th grade is trying to deside if he should go to the school dance tonight. He doesn't have a date. Should he go any way or stay home?

He should go...at that age the majority of kids don't have a date. Going to the dance will help him learn to socialize better. Tell him the biggest advantage to going without a date is that he can ask as many girls to dance as he wants.

Yes he should go. Even if he dont have a date. Go and just hang out. (from a 13 year old, and in the 7th)

Have him go - not everyone who goes to a 7th grade dance has a date.

I went to my 8th grd graduation dance and it sucked. Apparantly there was an invisible memo that said everyone has dates b4. Maybe if it's casual but this early in the year, don't bother.

he should go in middle school u dont really have dates usually tell him to just go with a bunch of his friends n tell him to have fun!

he should go for sure...even if its with his friends...he will have soo much funn and even if he doesint have a date there will be plenty of girls there too dance with...trust me he will have fun date or no date

Tell him to go... he may find a date once he gets there. Anyway... if he don't like it, he can always leave early.
