Yes. I shot a man who had broken into my home. I was alone with my four children. I have no regrets because I found out later he was wanted for spousal abuse. He was looking for money for drugs.I spoke to my pastor and prayed about it and I have no regrets.

No, and I won't have a gun in my house (because I have 4 kids).

However, there was one night, driving home from work, that I had wished I had a gun to use in self defense. If I had, I probably would have used it. And I'm not so sure I'd feel bad about it.

My religion is rational self interest. yes I have used a gun to defend my self and my family. I'm not happy I had to, but that was not in my control. That was the desicison of the other guy to use force. I would rather use reason and wisdom to solve a problem.
And I'm sure I have saved many other people the terror of his wrath. I have done the world a favor by supportiung my own rational self interest once again.
I would do it again, but I hope I never have to.

An M-4 semi automatic assault rifle and a M-9 Beretta
Death is important and unimportant depending on who is dying.
But in self-defense. No

No I haven't, I count myself lucky thst I've never been a a scary situation like that. Well, I'm a Witch, but do not consider myself to be Wiccan really. But, I do like the whole, "Harm none" approach. But if I was in a situation where using a gun in self defense was warrented, I'd do it in a heart beat. No regrets.

well, most religions formed before firearms, but I believe most want you to find another way, though Norse would want you to die in battle, so carrying the gun in the first place would be important there, and Sikhism at one time suggested the knife around the neck (i want to call it a kirkpan) should be used to defend the religion, but that isn't as widley believed anymore.

1) No
2) N/A
3) My religion came into being prior to firearms coming into being, so Christianity does not explicitly address using firearms in self-defense.

No-Fortunately not had to use that for self defense. I would not hesitated though if put into that situation. Religion would not come into play for me on this one.

Fortunately, I have never had to. I do carry though.

I haven't found any others who actually believe as I do, so I guess I'm a religion all by myself.

I haven't, but I know how if I need to. And would if I needed to.

I wouldn't feel good about it, I probably would feel HORRIBLE about it, but my safety comes FIRST!
