The Bible says "You believe in God, Good. So do the demons, and shutter" You have to consider Old Testament and New. The New Testament is in reference to the new covenant with The Birth-resurrection of Christ. I would be sure a lot of these examples are spread out in the Book. Also when something is done in God's will it never contradicts God's Word. It is also written faith without deeds is dead, so no it does not say if you believe in God you will go to heaven, I would do some more research on the Bible. Maybe a Bible study class can help with your questions.

Jesus was making a point here. If you even commit one sin you are condemned. We have all committed one sin and we can do nothing to redeem ourselves. The law and the commandments were put in place to show us just that. The only one who could do so was Jesus who came being fully man and fully God.He lived a sinless life and died on the cross one time for all mankinds sins. Now we have a choice. We either choose to accept this gift of grace we are given by God to redemn us and believe or we reject it. The only way to heaven is through Christ and the sacrifice he made. It's time for you to decide whether you will accept or reject it.
The bible didn't contradict itself.
And to make it very clear if you run around with those who do wrong you have a tendency to follow the direction they go. You may tell yourself you won't but before you know it you are participating.God didn't say don't be around these people. We have to be witnesses. What he was saying was why do people who have accepted Christ and choose to make him Lord of their lives run with those who will drag them the opposite direction. Don't participate in their sin.

There are two very different forms of Judgement in the bible and in life for that matter.
We are told to judge no one as far as if they are to spend eternity in Hell. That judgement is left to God and God alone. It hurts my ears and my heart to hear someone tell another human being to repent or burn in Hell. That is not the judgement that we are allowed to decide about someone.
Now, the judgements that we can make. Discernment might be a better current american word that can be used here.
We discern who our children can be trusted with. We discern who we fellowship with, work with, play with.
Yes, we must believe in Jesus Christ as our Personal Lord and Savior. When this belief is in our hearts, it becomes very real to us and when we call our brother an idiot, we know right away that we have messed up, others that do not believe will see nothing wrong with what they just did or said. Same with adultry and other forms of disobedience. A saved person will still sin, but they will know that they have done wrong, an unsaved person will feel that they have done nothing wrong, or if they did it was toward the person they hurt and not wrong with God.
So, you see, we cannot see into anothers heart, yet we can see their sins and disobedience. That is why we cannot judge another as far as their belief is concerned. We can see the outside of someone and discern if we want to interact with them or not.
Loving everybody and not committing revenge is more for us than the person that has harmed us. We need to forgive so that we are not consummed with revenge. If we are full of vengence, we do not have the room in our hearts to Love.
Finally, God is way more powerful and knowing that we can even imagine. We try to understand him in our human finite minds, but he is infinite and therefore at the moment very much not understandable to us. Why he had certain people and cities destroyed is not for us to understand totally, only know that we do not make that judgement, only God can, for he knows way more than we do.
We cannot see the whole picture, God can, and that is why we trust in him and not ourselves.

he says do not judge one another for he that judges will be judge accordingly, he says to avoid others that do break the laws so we do not fall down to their level and commit sin also, we still love them and befriend. so that is not judgement, judge aware that humans can fall into the natural man and take the easiest way out. the wars in the bible were for a purpose it was not on a personnel bases, turn you cheek when people make you mad, there is so much that people do not know they think if you believe you are saved, but there is so much more then that, that is only the starting point. same with calling names and stuff and going straight to hell is incorrect also. there are many degrees.

Why do you ask this here? You are bound to see many answers and only pick one you like; not necessarily one that is true.
You ask about Truth, so did Pilate. If you have a bible, see Tim 3:15. When you want to know the Truth, ask the pillar and bulwark of Truth; the Church (the one holy, Catholic and apostolic Church).
What ever you do, what ever you decide, don't leave answers to questions about your faith be guided and formed by an anonymous bunch without authority (ie this Q&A board). Seek the Truth where it is truly upheld. You will find no contradictions.

Well remember that David Koresh justified diddling children and other mens wives and claiming HE was the messiah using the bible. And the Reverend Jim Jones led hundreds of members of his Jonestown Church to death-by-Koolaid (with cyanide) using the bible to justify his leadership. People can and do use the bible to justify just about anything they get in their little minds to do. Fortunately most people take something positive or at worst benign from it.

There are a number of things said in the New Testament that seem to contradict. That's bc the writing style used extremes to make a point. In reality, what we need is balance. When Jesus said to turn the other cheek, does that mean we should let ppl abuse us? no. It means we shouldn't respond violently to someone insulting us, and we shouldn't first resort to violence, even when someone has acted violently towards us. God doesn't want us to just take abuse. We have a right to defend ourselves. If someone is trying to fight you, you should first try to get out of the situation and call for help. If you can't, try to defend yourself, but avoid hitting them and continually tell them to stop. But if they keep coming at you, I wouldn't have a problem with knocking them to the ground. I don't have to put up with abuse. I showed them love by having patience with them and trying to leave and asking them to stop, so I tried to end it without fighting, but they insisted on doing evil. At that point, fighting them isn't a problem. As a Christian I'm commanded to fight evil, first by giving grace and mercy (by leaving), then judgment (fighting back).

It seems you don't want to believe, Ther are ZERO contradictions
in the Holy Bible! Do yourself a favor, next time you read the Bible
Pray that God will open His word to you, So you can understand
His word the way he wants you to. You can only understand, when
you seek out Jesus, and a filling of the Holy Spirit.

This is true there are contradictions to the bible but for a reason they want to show the imperfections in human kind and that at one time God wiped out everything but he promised he would never do it again. The new testament shows gods love for us and that is that.

Just remember that you a reading an English translation of Hebrew and Greek words. Make sure you know the right meaning of the word being used. Also make sure if you think that you have found a "contradiction" then make sure you know the context that it is being used in.
