This is a recipe for blonde brownies. I was kind of skeptical the first time I made it, because......well......come on......a brownie that's not chocolate? But it is very good. Oh, and I didn't have any chocolate CHUNKS when I made it, all I had in the house was mini-chocolate chips, so that's what I used. Was very chocolaty , that's for sure!
Chocolate Chunk Blondies
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
1 3/4 cups (10 oz. package) semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; add to butter mixture.
Stir in nuts, if desired, and chocolate chunks; spread into prepared pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes about 36 bars

These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! I found the recipe about a year ago at www.allrecipes.com. I found that if you flatten the cookies *slightly* before baking, they bake up more evenly. They're great!
Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
(Makes 6 dozen, depending on size)
4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.

Go to allrecipes.com. They have some great goody recipes, and they're all rated so you know what you're getting into before you bake them. My favorites on that site are Snickerdoodles (the ones with millions of ratings) and Jr. Mint Brownies. Delicious!
