I have been dating this girl (yes i date girls) for quite a while now, but two months ago she left and...never came back, first she was sent to a camp but then went straiight to a bording school, so i never got to say goodbye to her and she wasnt allowd to send letters to people, we had no contact. So I was trying to get closer to my friend, and ive become so close to him, never beeen this close to a friend...ever. I love him so much, only as a friend though, i will kiss him on the cheek, lick him lol, bite him, all as a way to show for my love for him, its like I almost like him but I could never date him or anythign, it would be weird. So over these two month Ive had so many brake downs from missing my girlfriend. I even did something I completly regret...I kisses one of my best friends, I got him in trouble with is girlfriend and now Ive done what I told my girlfriend I would never ever do. But just today I found out shes coming home........(will be continued in a minute)

...so shes not actually going to bording school for the rest of high school. SO now i feel like my friend is gonna back away and not let me bite him, lick him etc. and my girlfriend is oviously not gonna apriciate me doing that AT ALL. So what the hell do I tell her? That I cheated on her and am allot closer to our friend that she would we ever want me to be? I almost am used to her being gone and I feel like now im gonna lose my best friend big time.........AHHHH

Relationships are so hard, aren't they? You feel like you are supposed to know from the book of relationship etiquette what you are supposed to do, but that isn't the way that it happens. They just don't come with a book. So let me just say I am sorry that you have to go through this dilemna. And I commend your bravery at posting this on here because most people would look for compassion and understanding at a time like this instead of getting a mixture due to people's opinions and own personal feelings. While I agree that your feelings are valid, I want you to remind yourself of something. Kissing, while very intimate, is not as intimate as doing the deed. You have to remember this. You punishing yourself from your guilt, it isn't healthy. And in order for you to feel ok, you DO need to tell your girlfriend. There are instances where honesty is NOT the best policy, but after everything that you guys have gone through, it just doesn't seem to be the case here. To miss someone that you love, it stinks. You can only trust time and the fact that she loves you as much as you love her. Because love forgives. Explain to her what you have explained to all of us. It can't be any harder than writing a bunch of strangers. :) If she is everything that you feel she is, she will understand, and you will get through this. It is difficult enough to be in a same sex relationship without having issues like this. I hope that everything works out for the two of you. God bless....

Relax...she was gone and you didn't know if you would ever see her again so you continued to live your life. If she really loves you then that is what she would have wanted. Your behavior with this other friend was probably your way of dealing with your loss and both you and him need to realize that. If your girl friend still loves you and you love her then you will find that you have no desire to keep up those other actions with your friend. Just remember, she has been gone and who knows what her life has been like and how she has changed. There is a lot to figure out and deal with so take it slow and figure things out in terms of what you want for your future.

tell her what happened. tell her they were breakdowns. but whatever you do, dont keep any of it from her. this is going to hurt her so much. i hate to ask this but, how can you say you love her and kiss another person?
