Check with a lawyer (one that won't charge you for a free consultation) and see if there is anything legally you can do. If there isn't maybe you can write a letter (and keep copy for yourself) to him and green card -Return Receipt Requested. Give him several days to respond to your letter then try something else. You might be able to take him to small claims court but you will have to have all your documentation in order to take with you. Good luck in getting your stuff back.

ok, first illegally evicted by who and how. If your boyfriend locked you out, then you should have sued then for your property, not now.

But if the property is just in your name you can sue for its return.

best advise get yourself a lawyer. if you can not afford a lawyer called the court anyways, and they will appointed you to a department they have which deals with indiduals who can not afford themselves lawyers. like state appointed lawyers. and then claim your case. do it through the court system, it is such safer for you. do not confront the person yourself. because it might not turn out the way you think it will

You need to take him to small claims court. You could even go on something like Judge Judy! Don't let your old landlord away with it and take him to court.
