oops i can't believe I wrote "Roman coke" but you all know what I mean" Rum and Coke

Dark rum goes with fruit juices too...
The Rum Runner is a very popular drink that is filled with fruit flavor. It can be either shaken or blended, both ways create a delicious tropical cocktail. If you cannot find Falernum (an almond, ginger, lime and spiced sugar syrup) that is used in many rum cocktails you can use grenadine instead.
INGREDIENTS:
* 4 oz orange juice
* 1/2 oz blackberry brandy
* 1/2 oz crème de banane
* 1 1/2 oz gold/drk rum
* dash of Falernum or grenadine
PREPARATION:
1. Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake well.
3. Strain into a chilled hurricane glass.
Optional: Pour ingredients into blender with approximately 3/4 cup of ice and blend until smooth.

A Pina Colada. It's easy to find in beverage/cookbooks and many people have heard about it, but many have not tried it. You should be a lover of a sweet, creamy, and dark taste. If you use White rum it is more of a light taste on your palate and dark rum is more rich and has a nice after taste to it. I enjoy both equally. I consider myself an expert. In the Beautiful Barbados where I am from the island is the world's best importer of Rum. Bajan rum is the best! Look for Mount Gay and Cockspur, both are available in the U.S and Canada. If you bring those rums back from Barbados directly you'll find them stronger and tastier. That's an island tradition.

Dark rum is also great mixed with Ginger Ale, Rootbeer, or Apple Cider.
