you don't gain weight over night - it just suddenly happens. Maybe you have a high metabolism that causes you to burn up calories too fast. Are you nervous, tense, irritable, these can cause your body to burn up calories.
The more relaxed you are the better. But you better off being slim than gaining weight that later you will have trouble getting rid of.
Be satisfied with how you look and with age you will find your self gaining weight.
There are weight gaining products at health food stores you might try also.
