I know this sounds silly, but I have been seeing this guy
for a month and he is very manly, cute, but not affectionate
he has never had a long relationship before and he is 37. He
seems really closed off too, and not affectionate. He doesnt
like to hug or kiss to much or hold hands. All my friends
think he is gay. I dont know, he might be......I am ending
this anyway, but I wanted to know if anyone else could answer
this for me

He's not gay, he has commitment issues. What he needs is to grow up and actually commit to something or someone.

I really would not think he would be interested in dating you if he was gay. Do your friends think he is gay for other reasons or just because you have told them he doesn't like to hug, kiss, hold hands, etc? If he is not affectionate that is a problem. He may not be a good long term (or even short term) relationship for you.
There are people who are asexual, but, from what I have read, most of them do not choose to date at all.
This is a hard one. If you like him, keep seeing him for a while and see if he becomes more affectionate.

Maybe he was hurt bad in the past and just never found the right girl!!! And is afraid to be affectionate and open up. Maybe you should talk to him about it instead of letting your friends talk crap about him...OR break out a dildo and say come here baby and if his face lights up then ya know lol..... If you are ending it why do you care what he is, he obviously doesnt mean anything to you for you to let your friends put him down instead of talking to him about it yourself!!!
