You can get pregnant very quickly after having a baby, though it isn't recommended since your body needs to recover from the previous pregnancy. You don't lose all of that weight and flab (the belly really stretches out from a baby) right away. If she had lost the weight and now seems to have gained more back, it could be just that, or it could be that she is expecting again. Maybe wait until you see more definite signs (maternity tops and pants).

People can look pregnant for a couple of months after they have had a baby. If she was pregnant again, she probably wouldn't be showing yet as you said she just had a baby.

You can get pregnant again the first time you have sex post partum. If shes a small woman and her baby is very young its probably from the baby. If the baby is a few months old she could very well be pregnant again.

How soon depends on a lot of things. If she just had a baby but still looks pregnant it is possibler that she has not lost the extra pounds she put on during Pregnancy

It is very easy to get pregnant as soon as the recommended 6 week hiatus after childbirth has expired. I know someone with 3 kids - all 10 months apart.

You can get pregnant immediately after having a baby. My coworker and his wife had sex immediatley after she came home from the hospital. (which is insane....I couldn't IMAGINE having sex after having a baby...) 8 months later, they had little Jacob. He was 4 weeks premature, but 6.5 lbs and healthy.
I wouldn't ask your neighbor. If she's not pregnant, you'd probably seriously hurt her feelings.

just had a baby as in like last week..how long is just..you are not suppose to have sex for at least 6 weeks after having a baby but that doesnt mean that everyone waits this long....my cousins kids are really close in age i mean like 11 months apart..it is not impossible!!!
