I can't make too much comment without knowing you and seeing you in action, but it has been my experience that girls (and guys for that matter) who try being funny all the time in the hopes of attracting someone really are not that funny and just look nervous and ill at ease. They overuse humor and that sometimes makes guys back off. You can try toning down your humor, be friendly and listen to the guys more. Also, guys like to think that they are funny so let them get the laughs too sometimes

thats a pretty funny question from a pretty and funny girl, just be confident have a guys ego-think every hot guy is checking you out- with all that confidence u'l be sending the right vibes and in no time u'll be beating them off with a stick. use ur best features to get attention but u wouldnt want to attract any tom,dick and harry. I often think this about my daughter! She is pretty, has a great personality and is very popular! but when it comes to lads ~ she is so shy! She has tons as mates and there is someone who she fancies like mad! She is slowly getting to know him better! I tell her when the time is right it will happen! men are like buses! before you know it one will come along when you least expect it to! Some girls go from boyfriend to boyfriend as if there life would end if they didn't have a man in their life! Sometimes being fancy free isn't too bad! make the most of your single life.....and have fun!

sometimes, your sub-conscious tells you that the chaps on offer aren't the right ones for you even though your conscious mind tells you that 'they could be a fab boyfriend'. If you're funny, you'r probably a smart girl and got your values and standards. Sub-consciously, maybe you reject them if they don't meet these standards-----only smarties can do this!
Maybe you know deep down, that you can't be bothered to waste time with chaps that would end up breaking your heart cause they're not right.
Trust your instincts!

Aren't you the same person who asked what you should be doing on a friday night because you are bored?
Are you expecting a good looking, funny, well off bloke to arrive on your doorstep?
The only way that is going to happen is if your house catches fire! (Don't even think about it!!)
Just be yourself, you have years ahead of you to worry about boys and stuff, enjoy your night in

maybe you need to expand your horizons, do things
you like to do, join a club or go to an event-there
are a lot of places to meet people that arent
meat-markety, but places where you can meet nice people
I met a great guy at a sailing club I joined during the summer
