Okay- well, last Saturday I went to a big party at my friend's beach house. My boyfriend of three months, Jared, was at his cousin's dorm for the weekend in New York. Anyway, I got pretty wasted and found myself in this guy, Colin's, bed the next morning. The problem is that I left my boyfriend's Varstiy Baseball jacket at Colin's house that night. Jared (my boyfriend) is going on a tournament tomorrow with his team and is asking for it back so he can wear it in the tounament with his team mates. I can't tell him what happened. But, even worse, I don't even know how to get his jacket back. See- I havn't talked to Colin once since that night because we're both not single and it's really akward. I don't know how to approach him or anything like that. What should I do?
*Oh, and by the way- PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME. I know what I did was wrong and I swear, I really do love Jared. I just need some advice! Thankss.

well i think you should talk to this colin and get your jacket back it may be hard but its that or you just tell your boyfriend jared and lose him but as people say honesty is the best policy it will hurt him and he may dump you but at least you will not need to worry anymore. anyway why do you want a boyfriend with the name jared you should get rid of him he sounds like he's more intrested in doing things with his mates if it was me i would have come to the party with you and the tournament can just go and jump. xxx

This is what you do. You go to Colin's crib and say look l need the jacket back that l left over here the other night. If you do the do then you have to own up to it and just man up and go your mans jacket back. I am sure Colin understand it was a one night thing and you may be stressing for nothing. If it is your mans Baseball jacket l am sure it has his name on it so Colin know it is not his and it is not yours so l am sure he understand you got another man in your life. So go get the damn jacket and stop stressing.

I do not know all of the friends who are mutual ones between you and Colin but if you do know of one perhaps you can ask them to approach Colin since it is hard for the two of you to meet without rising suspicions. This mutual friend can ask about the jacket and hopefully secure it for you. Just tell your boyfriend that you accidently left it at your friends house the previous weekend. Also let him know you will try to get it back this weekend and hopefully it will work out. Good luck.

Yeah, it's akward, but you need the jacket. Make the phone call, do the walk of shame, get the jacket, and move on. Stuff happens, just try not to bang the other guy when you go to get the jacket. (Sorry, had to throw that in there.) Best of luck, and be careful next time you get wasted, so you have someone there you can trust to keep you from doing stupid stuff.

I have been in the same predicament, except i left a bracelet at the guy's house. You need to somehow get in contact with Colin to get it back, I think he'll understand. Yea, it may be akward, but if you love Jared you'll do it.

I guess you need to get a third party involved, a mutual freind of you and Colin and ask him to get the jacket. Or just call Colin and be honest. Sometimes honesty works best.

Well, whether you get busted for this little fling or not get the poor guys jacket back. Even if you have to find neutral person help retrieve the jacket, get it back!
