tiger has already surpassed a lot of the great names in golf in just over 10 years. you can say he plays in a different era because of technology, like his dad said, you stil have to think your way around the course. these days courses are a lot more difficult to play and the competition is a lot better. nobody is scared to go one on one with tiger and he has been beaten. but overall he is the best of all time. or will be. nicklaus has 18 majors in a career. tiger has 12 in ten years. tiger isnt even 31 yet. given the fact that he wins almost two majors a year. by the time he is 40 he could have over 20 major titles and 100 wins. VJ is already in his 40s and other contemporary golfers are close to 40. None of the younger players are even a threat. As far as Shooter McGavin no one has heard from him since he was chased from the Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods is the superb golfer ever.. the guy performed with a bad knee and nonetheless gained the journey. ok, Jack Nicklaus have 19 Majors yet how many sturdy gamers he ever compete with Palmer and participant purely. purely examine out the link under suitable now the appropriate 30 gamers on the Fedex Cup can quite win a journey and Tiger Woods could play with those men and he have been given 14 majors already. If Tiger Woods play in the process the 60's or 70's I wager you he have been given extra majors than Nicklaus. i wish Tiger Woods can examine this by way of fact i'd like a sparkling golfing club contraptions.

First of all, Shooter wasn't that great. He never won a Tour Championship.
I'd have to put Tiger right behind Nicklaus right now, at #2. Tiger was and is more dominant than Nicklaus ever was, but Jack was good for a very long period of time. When Tiger gets his 19th major, he will definately be considered the best of all time.

Shooter McGavin is not in the top 10, as good as he was for the first 55 minutes of that movie, he folded before achieving greatness. Woods at this stage of his career is so far ahead of Jack at the same age you have to acknowledge him as the best ever and by a large margin. He better by every measuring stick.
Even Jack himself says Tiger is better than he ever was.

It's the old pi$$ing contest that can never be settled ... is today's great player better than the greats of old, or not.
Nicklaus played in a different era. The technology was different (golf clubs, balls). The money was different. What athletes knew about conditioning and nutrition was different. Traveling is easier now than it was back in the day.
