i was recently watching this baby stort on tlc and i saw that the woman was giving birth naked. is that how evryone does it naked?

Different people make different choices. I think in most hospitals you wear a hospital gown which is easily lifted to accommodate the process.

I wore a hospital gown but my sister was naked half the time cos she was too hot and was in and out of the bath. The decision is up to you. When you are in the middle of labour, you don't care what you look like or who sees you naked!

No. It depends on the person. Mostly the women who give birth in the tub tend to go naked. Most lady's in the hospital though are given a gown to wear. Or if you have a home birth you can do as you please.

I dont understand why the worry, believe you me when u are in labour you are not thinking of being have naked or fully naked, you want to get over with it as soon as possible, its one of the most trying time in the life of a woman.

Some people do. I think people wear hospital gowns becasuse thats what they give you. Some women pull their gowns down because they want the baby to be placed right on their chest after birth for body to body contact.

I saw the same show, when the lady was totally naked. That's not normal. You have a hospital gown on, that lady was so weird!!

If they want to! They are most certainly naked from the waist down all the time! They usually wear gowns though.

No, not everyone is naked it is only how comfortable you are during birth some women like nothing touching them during labour, others wear socks, hopsital gown etc. its all personal preference.

I wasnt naked, i had a nightie on but the bottom half of you is really i suppose you could ask for a blanket if you were that shy x

It's your birth you can do it any way you want to many women feel comfortable naked or sometimes they end up that way because they are hot and don't care any more.
