I surrendered my life to Jesus over 21 years ago and daily I surrender my life hurts expectations and sins over to Him on daily basis.

You are asking and if you are asking in sincerity and with an honest heart, I believe He will if He knows that it will be good for you. The Bible teaches that if we ask, we shall recieve and it also say that He hears us when we pray.
