If a psychic was proved to be real?

Makes you wonder?

The new stories, the requests, the obligations, the loss of personal life to media. The hate from religious groups.
Logic and rational?

i know many people who have considered going for this ... just to prove a point
but considering the ridicule that psychics and mediums have been subjected to in the past by these sceptics ... there is a fear of the same happening to them
there was once a man called Daniel Dunglas Home... an amazing medium
he was very open to being tested and invited the media to his home to witness
they printed in the paper the next day about the parlour tricks performed that night
how Home had hidden a harmonica in his beard that made the sound supposedly coming from his accordian ( it played a tune without home touching it )
what was amazing was .... Home had no beard !!!
sceptics will say black is white if they cant understand what is going on
i am sorry but i for one would not give Randi that satisfaction

Maybe a few nutjobs. On the whole, though, they'd have worldwide acclaim, fame, and money.

The James Randi Educational Foundation offers a $1 million cash prize for anyone who can show supernatural abilities in a controlled setting. As a former stage magician and "psychic," Randi and his associated skeptics are incredibly good at spotting and preventing cheating, intentional or unintentional in applicants.

On Uri Geller's infamous Tonight Show appearance in the early 70s, where he was painfully unaware to perform his usual spoon-bending "psychokinesis," Carson (once upon a time himself) had brought in Randi to assure that Geller or his staff couldn't pull anything fast.

Saturday’s Lotto Draw number 2625 on September 16th 2006 with a First Division pool of $22million was shared by 12 winning tickets each worth $1.8million. Each of the psychics in the syndicate picks up an estimated $85,000 each. They saw it coming! http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-wins-lottery.html

If cows flew, would we call them birds? Since there is no such thing as psychics, it's never going to happen.
