Im thinking of being a chef at a hotel too, well I have a friend is working in one he gets 20,000-50,000 a year excluding bonuses. Bonuses are even higher than his salary..!

Hope you like to work 12 hours a day and on weekends if you make it past one of the many prep-stations. They don't let you play with fire right out of the gate. One thing to remember, there is a BIG difference between being a "Chef" and a "Cook". Something to think about.
