kingreef7,
1) But then won't you miss out on all the fun of converting these poor misguided souls?
2) Then, where does all the delicious chow we will enjoy in heaven go?
3) No capitalism or, indeed, economics either.
4) No pleasure either. And no problems to solve. No need to use our brains at all. Gee, what fun!
5) Don't you already have God's love RIGHT HERE?
6) No people either.
7) I hear LSD also works.
8) Good, you will know that your fun nature is also OUTTA THERE!
9) No money either. We'll all be poor as church mice.
10) No assets either.

Psst, listen. Let me share a little secret with you. I know an extremely fun place called Stinkalotsville. I know it's fun because a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend told me that someone told her that he read it in a three million year old book. If you send me just $50,000, I'll make arrangements so that you will spend the rest of your life there. You won't be able to leave because it is surrounded by big, steel bars. But I guarantee you won't want to leave anyway. Take my word for it.

Any takers? Basically, what I'm asking is, "Are you bloody stupid or something?"

Who said heaven'll be fun? Think; who goes to heaven? If you believe in heaven, then it'd be all those prudy types that think "fun" is a potluck with their preacher. Everyone who has "fun" down here in the real world are meanwhile apparently going to hell, so if you want a hot party, you know what you need to do!

The way you ask about heaven as fun tells me that you are still in the stage of a child's understanding. Though I am not really sure how old are you I hope I am right by asking you to go into maturity and wake up to the reality that heaven is only a state of mind.
Let your mind wander away to a dreamland that you have to do good because there is heaven as a place of rewards for those who have been good all their life. We have to be good because it is the right thing to do, not because there is a dream place waiting for those who does it. What if heaven is a only a feeling that you have when your love one says he loves you back? What if heaven is something that makes you happy because someone gave you a big birthday surprise party? What if heaven becomes a feeling of joy because your effort and sacrifices in life is rewarded with recognition, fame and honor? Will you stop being good to yourself and to others? Isn't it more fun to experience heaven while you are alive than live and strive to be good under the pressure of guilt and fear? Yes, there is fun in heaven and that is always within you...in every right thing you do to yourself and to the people around you.

Some of the funniest people I know also go to church every week. Children have such a strong predilection for certain things, so I suspect the fun things we have here for them must also exist there. Perhaps all we are doing here on earth is re-creating all the fun things we used to have in the realm like heaven or just outside of heaven. So you just have to have faith that we'll still have fun when that time comes around.

As a Muslim, I can tell you that we are told that heaven is a place for just joying without being asked any thing of any kind, while the life we live is short and can be considered as a test where you are constrained by some rules you have to obey if you wanna go to heaven where no rules will be in front of you.

The bible tells me that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, the heart cannot conceive, of all that God has prepared for those who love Him.

John, being "caught up in the spirit" into heaven, could not even find words to describe it.

I believe them, and wait patiently for God's glory.

Well it should be a happy place.
Honestly, i wouldn't want my soul to be alive wandering around in heaven for all eternity. Eventually, it will feel like being in jail for a life sentence. Nevertheless, i certainly don't wanna go to Hell.

because in the Bible we get little pictures of heaven and God would not creat a place for his belivers that was not perfect in every way! He loves us to much! If you chose to love him you will get to see this great place!

Seriously, have you looked around the congregation of your local church and asked yourself are these the people I want to spend eternity with?
