If you don't know, get her spayed. She shouldn't be bred.

She can get pregnant only when in heat. Some breeders test for progesterone levels to identify the most fertile days but the rule-of-thumb is that the most fertile days are 11-15 of her cycle.

Note – when she’s in heat, the average dog will permit any male dog to mount her. Few females, however, will accept a male when they’re not in heat.

after the spotting stops, you will look at them from behind and see them holding their tail a little to the side and see the vulva "pulsing" - this is called "winking". This is when they are most fertile. It lasts 10-14 days

Normally somewhere between the 9th and 15th day of their heat.

They will normally "flag" only when they are fertile. (flag = hold their tail to the side and out of the way) To see if a dog will flag just scratch the side of their rear leg.
