i have blue eyes but i am 1/8th cherokee and 1/16th apache. do you think i will be looked down upon this.

No one will look down on you. There are so many half breeds in the indian tribes no days eye color doesn't make a difference. I'm almost full blooded so I know what I'm talking about the one thing about us indians is that we accept everyone no matter what

There is a story that a European explorer in the Great Lakes area found a tribe of blue-eyed Native Indians.
Some people think this means that the Vikings (mostly blue-eyed) got to the North American continent centuries earlier and mixed with the tribes there.....

No, blue eyes are definitely a European trait. You obviously are more white than native American. I don't think that's any reason for people to look down on you, though.

Haven't you ever done a Punnett's square in Biology? It shows how traits are passed along. Blue eyes are not a Native American trait, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have more European heritage. It's just how the genes rolled down for you. I bet you're a cutie!

So, I want to understand this...are you concerned that people will look down on you because you have Indian blood or because you have blue eyes? Does it really matters? As lons as you are proud of your ancestry and of who you are...who cares what others think??

looked down??? blue eyes is really a caucasian thing.....so u just have more flavour than a 1 race person..... i'm "mixed" too.... so i think its cool
