I have brown hair with a red tint to it and I really want to go blonde...I'm not very tan but I have some color...Will my hair turn blonde and if it does will it make me look super pale???

Actually, if you have a darker shade of brown hair it will just make you look even more pale then you already are. If you go blonde, it will most likely make you appear as though you have more of tan. It does depend on the shade of blonde you pick out for yourself. If your hair is on the darker side at this current point in time, I wouldn't exactly bleach it as it will do a ton of damage, etc. I had dark brown hair and wanted to go blonde and my stylist recommended a full head of blonde highlights which is basically just like dying your hair blonde. Though, this does much less damage and it grows out without your roots being so noticeable therefore you won't need to get root touchups as quickly. I now have an ash-blonde hair colour and I'm planning on going a bit lighter next hair appointment I make. So I would say that you should take gradual steps to get blonde hair rather then one huge step. Ask your stylist what shade of blonde she think would suit you best as the shade you pick out is what is important! =]

The best way to get dark hair to go blonde is to have a professional do it. It's very easy to mess up, trust me, I know from experience! It will be a lengthy process but your hair will eventually be blonde. As for your tan, blonde hair will bring out your tan and make you look tanner and healthier.

Yes.. anyone can go blonde.. I have seen a number of black people with blond hair.. also black guys with blonde hair.. I do not think that black people look good with blonde hair but if that is what they want.. then go for it.

if you have red in your hair, the color might pull that red, meaning, your hair might look orange instead of blonde-blonde, you know? so...before you do anything, i would have a colorist look at your current color and recommend a product. there are things out there that will just bleach everything out, but these can also be harsh so make sure you get some good aftercare products. revlon makes a good one for bleaching. roux porosity control, is what it's called. it will save your hair from turning into shredded wheat. also, if you have really dark eyebrows, you may want to match those. also, when you're talking to the colorist (if you decide to) ask him what he thinks about shades to match skintone. depending on what that is, you could end up looking "washed-out".

well, my advice would be to work up to it slowly. go from the shade you have now to a lighter brown, then dirty blonde, then blonde, just so it isn't so extreme and it'll be easier to dye. but if you get a white blonde (think paris hilton) you will look pretty pale.
just stick to your natural hair color, because at the very least, then you dont have to worry about going to the hair salon every month.

you can but you need to start slowly ive been doing it for yrs now i went for a lite shade of brown then lighter, tried a deep blond and worked my way till i found the right kind of blond that i wanted it works but dont rush or your hair will turn grey

anyone can go blond, its all a matter of what shade you pick. Start with a warm medium blond (no ashen colors) and see how it looks.

if you go blonde you and want it to look like your natural color you may want to die your eyebrows too. i didnt go blonde i just lightened my hair most people dont know i even get it colored. but if you go blonde and you have dark eyebrows they will know.
dont go straight blonde right away mabye just get it lightened and work your way to the blondness that you want. so it will look good with your skin tones.
