personally i believe that some people marry because they are scared of being alone. hell, half of my friends that are girls date a complete loser because they are scared of being alone. it drive me absolutely crazy because all they do is ***** about the person they are with and then when they break it off with that particular person then they are all depressed. like they can't move on and find a better person! also, it's not just a fear but more like a lack of self-confidence because they think they can only do so good and they're not willing to look at "greener pastures."

Yes, or the idea that everybody is suppose to get married. Women are social beings and want to be around people, but you should marry for the right reasons.

Yup. I think some guys do also. Definitely the wrong reason to marry. Better to learn to live alone and like it and find someone for the right reasons.

I believe it's true with some people (ladies and men). Everyone is afraid of being lonely but the ones who feel most lonely and never want to be alone do so.

Yes, they do. And I think that is why most girls get married right after high school as well. But that is just my opinion.

I know that is why my ex hub married me but then he got resentful towards me and I had to let him go LOL so guys don't get married to a girl out of being scared of being lonely do it for you love her !!

Yes, I'm watching one of my best friends go through that now. She knows he's not right for her but she's so afraid that she will never find anyone else that she's going to put herself through it anyway. I just wish she would understand what her friends and family are trying to say to her.

alot of girls and guys do but I am a cowgirl and I was raised I didn't need a man to take care of me and that I could make it with out one and it is true so I won't marry unless it is for love PERIOD
