2,697 - Total dead. 56 dead so far in Sept.

And we're winning?!?

General John Abizaid said things were pretty cool in Iraq this time last month. Now he's saying more troops are needed. That man sure can tap-dance. He must be trying for Condomleezza's job - "pet prevaricator" for the Wh**e House criminal.

Support the troops. Bring 'em home before the Bringemon Moron murders them all.

"One Big Daddy".. you are One Big Moron. Are u saying Americans can't handle it by themselves? You are stupid. Some of those American troops have parents who are illegals and they are fighting for them and the whole country, you disrespectful Son of a *********.

Are we winning in Iraq?

Nobody could answer that cause they don't know what the f.u.c.k. is going on. They hear things on the news and that's all they are going to tell you. Don't listen to what people are saying, people think they know everything. I don't know if we are winning, but we should get the job done, i don't think you want a war here do you, like another 9-11 attack, i don't think u want that.

Technically yes. We are winning if that's what you want to call it. We have began allowing the Iraqi Government take over and we are in most places jsut helping enforce the new government. Drastic changes have been made since last year at this time. I only know that because my unit is in Iraq right now and so is my husband's (hes not because he got injusred last year in Iraq) You may not see it on TV but you can definately see it here.

War ain't tiddlywinks, tinkerbelle.

And we sure ain't losing the war. The conflict changes. The military adapts.

Your comments about Secretary Rice reveal you to be a low-brow guttersnipe. But, that is how you have always been - a gutter wallowing scumbag.

When the price of Gas is high and we are running out of money to pay for it...Bush won....and we all lost.

But let me ask this...if the U.S. "claims" victory over war in Iraq having freed the people of Iraq (apparently)...will that give justice to the people who died in 9/11 and the soldiers who died in the process? There had been no "smoking" guns found...weapons of mass distraction...and bin Laden is still not found. Has this all been about freeing Iraq then and those that suffered in 9/11 will remain forgotten?

Yes, contrary to media reports, we are in fact winning. the insurgency is restricted to a very small part of central Iraq (mainly populated by Sunnis, Saddam's tribe). GW stood up for what's right, to make sure you were able to spout your drivel.

"First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out.
Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out.
Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out.
And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me."

I think the only one that can truly answer that is the White house, and they're not talking. Our only source of info on the subject is the Media, and if you watch enough of them they'll have you convinced the world is ending tomorrow around lunch time. Are we winning? who knows.

I would hate to see his idea of losing if that's winning. Unfortunately I believe the republicans will hold on to power in both houses of congress it's disgraceful but probably true it really makes me think my fellow americans are truly moronic in the Nth degree!

We sure as hell aren't losing. We cant bring them home until the Iraqi military can fight for itself or we would lose everything we fought for.
