I know this is cliche, but it is better to talk to your mom about it.
Seriously. Eventually, she is going to find out. And when she does, she will never trust you again. I am speaking to you as a nurse and a mom that this is better. But, if you are going to have sex, you need to be responsible. Go to your nearest Planned Parenthood. They have condoms and birth control available. You will need to get a pap smear. Most girls are frightened by this but the initial discomfort is when the speculum is inserted into the girls vagina. Just relax your body. The swabbing of the cervix is like a tickle almost. The pap is for cervical cancer, but also for other diseases. Many have no symptoms, so it is imperative to get this done yearly. Cost is sliding scale and very workable, and I actually recommend you use condoms AND another form of birth control as well. Abstinence is best, but if you are going to have sex, be safe. And talk to your mom.

A gas station is good, especially ones where they aren't kept behind the counter and you don't have to ask. If you are very young, watch out for concerned adults. Beware- condoms don't always work. You do not want to have to tell your mom you are pregnant. Ask at a clinic or planned parenthood about their youth policies- they are a great resource for info and testing. STDs!

You should be congratulated for preparing yourself but you should also be aware that condoms are not 100% effective for preventing pregnancy. I would go to the health clinic nearest you and they will provide the condoms for free and give you some advice on birth control for yourself. You can also book an appointment with your family doctor. Anything that you say to him is confidential.

Buy them at any drug, grocery, or convenience store. Also, your local health department and planned parenthood offices will give them to you for free, no questions asked. I know where I live the health department provides free or reduced cost birth control to anyone. This means that if you are underage and want the pill, they can give it to you, without your parents permission. Your sexual health is something that you remain in control over, not your parents, at least legally. If you are thinking of having sex, you should think about getting on birth control and even seeing if your parents will understand.

You can buy them at a local grocery store. It will be embarrasing, but at least you don't have to worry about your mother finding out (as long as she doesn't find the reciept).

Just go to the drugstore and buy some - you don't need a prescription and they usually are out where anyone can buy them.
