has anyone had a abdominoplasty and did it hurt?

I've not had one myself, but I work in an Operating Department, and have seen them performed.
Post operatively, there would be quite a lot of discomfort, due to the extensive dissection required to remove the excess tissue, and leave an acceptable scar. Sometimes with this procedure, you can get wound breakdown and infection, so its not a procedure to be undertaken lightly.
