I want to know if there is a smell or an odor other peope can smell from you smokiing maijuana?

I have been told that different grades of marijuana have different smells. Is this correct?

People can smell pot on you if you have recently smoked it or been around it while it was being smoked. People can't smell it on you days later....it doesn't come out of your pores the next day like a lot of alcohol has been know to do.

oh yes - it has a very distinct smell which stay sin the clothes, the hair, the breath of a person. I can always smell it. It is a little bit like very light and faint skunk.
Actually really unpleasant.
It probably takes a couple weeks to gt rid of it.

Not sure about different grades and whether every person can smell it as good as I can. I smell traces of regular cigarettes too.

Different grades of marijuana all have different smells, and to a seasoned stoner, every batch will be different in taste, smell, body effect and mental effect depending if it's dominated genetically by indica or sativa, where it was grown, how, what it's exact strain is etc etc etc etc. To all those who just claim marijuana stinks, you just have a size 11 shoe in your ***, take it out and start buying better grade. There are other reasons people think this, but the most common are closemindedness, smelling schwag from mexico, and people who hate it because one of their loved ones was a weed fiend so they just hate everything about it. YES marijuana smoke is easily detected, on the clothes and breath, especially when smoked in a low wind situation or in doors (or a car, etc).

Yes. I have never smoked marijuana, but I can smell it the moment I walk in a room where it was smoked. It is very sweet smelling, but still smokey - a unique smell.

all types of weed smell different some smell like pine others smell like dirt some smell like a skunk all types have thier own smell and just like cigarettes you can smell the smoke on you for hours after you have smoked it or been around it

I've found that almost every crop has a different smell whether smoked or not. Me personally, I dig the smell of herb. The skunkier, the better!

In the same way that roses have different smells, marijuana plants can have different smells.

In the same way different brands of cigarettes smell differently when you smoke them, different "brands" of marijuana will smell different when smoked.
