I asked this before to some degree, and if you want to argue that we don't use them, you are mistaken. It is declassified now and I can talked briefly on it.
But, any rational person would investigate this, I'm calling your bluffs right now.
If you want more info, just ask.

You're talking in circles. Drop the hostility and make some sense, ok?

Not all psychics are genuine. That poses a problem for those who are. Just like not all who call themselves Christian really are. Which poses a problem for those who are. Not all Muslims really are, which poses a problem for those who are.

I have a friend who calls herself a time walker. Good Catholic woman of discernment. She can be seen on Court TV's Psychic Detectives solving a cold case.

So calm down and pose a genuine question that makes sense. You've got a large Christian community here who can tell you all about gifts of the Spirit - which will confirm what you call "psychic." You just have to understand the term "psychic" to most people refers to New Agers and the like - which goes against Christian teachings.

Padre Pio - now Saint Pio - had phenomenal gifts. He knew things that had happened to people in the past. He saw the coming of the "new mass" among other things. You would call him "psychic" and Catholics across the globe would be offended. To us - he has the gift of discernment. A gift from God. As well as bilocation - which New Agers call "out of body."

I could go on, but I think you get the point.

Yes, they have used psychics - but they don't train them (how can you train someone who is supposed to have a supernatural gift?!). They have employed the "abilities" of psychics on the off chance that they might actually provide some information that is useful.

Since the "abilities" of these psychics can neither be proved nor disproved through science, it is possible (although very unlikely) that they may help the military. Not a lot of money is spent in this area, nor are the predictions of the psychics taken too seriously. If what they predict can be investigated for a small cost, they will. If what they predict will involve a lot of money - it's dismissed.

Note though - there have been no positive predictions that have led the military to anything they didn't already know.

The US military has investigated a lot of bizarre ideas over the years on the offchance that they had some validity and could be weaponized.

Even without supernatural powers, however, the mundane tricks and techniques used by "psychics" probably have some application.

The fact remains that to this day, no one has been able to replicate any sort of supernatural power in a controlled setting. Get back to me when they can.

By the way, this is known as an "appeal to authority," which is
1. a logical fallacy; and
2. risible considering how many patently stupid things the military has done in its history.

I can't believe how many people are ignorant of this. I saw a few documentaries about it before, with many military interviews included, so I know it's true. Most of the emphasis was on remote viewing and analysis of disguised buildings.

The military trains and uses TRUE psychics as you know. Classified or not, we have known this for decades. The fact of the matter is that there are charlatans out there who are looking to make a quick buck and giving the real psychics a bad name.

I'm asking for more info. In any event, I like George Carlin's line:
"Military intelligence is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp."

One of many failed experiments. Why did it fail, you ask? Becuase, uh, there are no psychics, only people who pretend to be.

So if it worked, then why do we spend BILLIONs on spy satelites?
