Why are you leaving your pets? College?
When I had to leave my cat ( years ago) for college. I slept with a towel around my waist and left it for her and made a package a month of toys with my scent on them. I had a sorority sweat-shirt that I wore all the time that fall/winter and sent it home to (cat) in the Springtime. My mom, thought it was a strange and weird, yet gave it to her anyway, she said the cat was so happy, she laid on it and purrrrred.
She took a photo of my cat sleeping on it on my bed....so yes they miss us too. When I came home from college, she was nuts...and actually rode in the car with me to run errands on mild weathered days. She passed away at age 21. What a lucky person I am to have such a great pet. My other cat is now 13 as of 8/15. So I guess my "cat sense" is really good.

take pics of your cats doing things you relate to. then when your lonely you can sit and enjoy. leave your pic for them too.
