Dating a 35 year old man who has never been married and only in a few relationships. He wants a relationship with me and has told me he is not used to dating and having a girl around. What are some ways to get him into being a good boyfriend?

There isn't really anything that you can do to make him a good partner. He is who he is. Just take things as they come.

You can't make him be a good boyfriend, but don't listen to what anyone says about not being able to change him and blah blah blah, that isn't what this is about. You hear people that have been married for years and years often say after a divorce that they don't know how to get back into the "dating scene". Well, people are people and relationships come naturally. Once his feelings for you starts to grow, everything will fall into place. There is no right or wrongs in that, just go with the flow and don't rush or push him into anything........You will both be fine, good luck sweetie

I am starting a relationship with a man who is 36 and lives with mates :-) he has never lived with a woman either and have had but short lasting relationships.
You know I have been married to a guy who had had a NINETEEN years long relationship before me, and I tell you what!!!
Guys who had never lived with a woman are much less demanding. I have heard my quote of my ex praising his ex and letting me now things I would rather not to know.
Sometimes I worry that my bf has something wrong but then I remember I am, myself, 32, and out of my marriage I have had very little experience too, and my marriage was quite short (less than one year long).
If you ask me, I think I have more chances of pleasing my bf than I ever had of pleasing my ex!!!
He will soon realizing that having a girl around will be a bliss in many senses :-) and it will be all fresh and new.

Tell him what you like, and listen to what he likes.

Once this is done you'll both have a good understanding of what you want from each other which in turn will make your relationship that much more better or that much more worse depending on how well you two listen.

dont, see if he wants u for a toy or a lifepartner.if you go on long dates belive what you see, not what he speaks.after a couple months his true colors will be in plain sight.

he's probably very set in his ways. don't try too hard some people don't change one bit. it will most likely be his way or no way. good luck
