It's okay, it helps with their digestion

It's probably okay. If there is grass around and a dog has an upset stomach, they will eat the grass. However, if the dog is eating grass obsessively, it "could" be that the dog food you're feeding them doesn't agree with their stomach. My dog went through that, and I changed her food brand. But when she gets an upset stomach, she will still eat grass, because it kind of works as an antacid. Also, did you know that before we domesticated dogs, they were vegetarians? So it's probably still a favorite thing for them. I hope this helped you.

When a dog eats grass it acts like pepsmo to us, she/he has an upset stomach. Most dogs after eating grass will throw up this allows the stomach to be empted of whats making them sick.
Don't worry its only temporary, but if it continues then seek the advice of a vet.( animal doctor). Since she is a puppy it's possible that something is missing in her food. I would check the label of food.

It's your mind that's the problem. Dogs use the grass to help digest and settle their stomachs. It's perfectly normal for them to eat grass sometimes to help process their food or because they have an upset tummy.

Stop overfeeding your pet.

Don't worry. Animals know when they need supplements of some sort and maybe she's getting them from the grass. It also helps with digestion and makes them feel better when they have an upset stomach. It can't do any harm.

Grass generally will not harm a dog, any more than it would harm you. The actual amount of grass they eat is very small. Grass is naturally sweet, and has lots of moisture, and those are the 2 reasons dogs eat it.

I wouldn't worry at all, I have cats and they do the same thing from time to time. Eating grass is just their natural way of cleaning their digestive system. All cats and dogs eat grass so don't worry, you just have to watch out after she eats grass when she is most likely to vomit.

Sweetie, your dog is telling you that it's not feeling well! They usually have an upset stomache when they eat grass! Try calling a vet and asking if there is something you can give him to keep him from feeling sick!

hi i have 9 dogs hahah
well i have heard they do that cuz of belly aches and it aids them in the digestion of food ..like a doggie fiber hhah
also eating to much grass they can get the runs

try keepin her on the dog food it contains the perfect balance a dog needs.. and if you do not give her scraps from the table then try changin her dog food for some reason a couple of my dogs will eat any dog food even the store brandy and then i have 2 picky eaters that will starve theirselves haha i give all the dogs gravy train and they all love it !! even the cheaper gravy dog food marks they love it !!

Why does my dog eat grass? Is there something wrong with him? These are frequently asked questions and although there are several theories why dogs eat grass, veterinary experts agree that it's just normal canine behavior.

Dogs eat Grass when they are sick (Like..Tummy sick).
