Hell no!! Girl no, no, no. Do not do it. I am 23 years old and my family is very open but everything changes when they think you are having sex. The best thing you can do, IS NOT TO HAVE SEX, and if something does happen, PRACTICE SAFE SEX everytime even when in love, until you are married, TALK TO YOU DOCTOR constantly and let him/her know what is going on with you.
I thought it was best to tall my parents the truth about things that went on in my life and all it did was scare them. Now at 23 I am still trying to finish college and have no support from my family PERIOD!! My brother did all kinds of stuff and lied about everything and he was fully supported and makes 6 figures. LIE TO SAVE YOURSELF. Just make sure that you are responsible.

This is a tough one for all teengage girls. I was in the exact same boat about two years ago. I found that it was the wrong thing to do to tell my parents that I had sex. They thought that I only went to my boyfriend's house to have sex. I did however get birth control by myself, but unless your parents really trust you (and I mean really trust u because I thought mine really trusted me) then I wouldn't tell them yet. However, if you do tell them and things go bad, just know that eventually they'll get better.

well it depends on the family, if it is a traditional family (like mine) then forget about it, otherwise tell them the whole story, and I'm sure they'll help you, but be careful and protect your self from diseases and unwanted children!! Best of luck:)

yes u should becouse you wouldnt want to hide it from them and then get pregnat u would rather tell them so they at least know this and are able to get you birth control pillls or condoms anything that would prevent you from getting pregnat.

I think you should and remember use protection and make sure you do it only with someone special. You don't want your reputation going down..

ONE THING IS FOR SURE WITH FINDING SOMETHING OUT ABOUT ANYONE IS IT IS BETTER TO TELL SOME ONE OTHER THAN TO LET THEM FIND OUT ON THEIR OWN. REMEMBER THAT.

Absolutely!! Please be honest with them. They know what's best for you. I would tell your mom ...dad will probably get angry.
