Open Windows Media player and go to tools and then options. From there click on the Files Type tab. At the bottom of this tab click "Select All" and then click OK. you should be set from there. You can can also go into Itunes and select the a certain format for Itunes to play and keep Windows Media Player for all the rest.

OR

If your computer is running Windows XP and multiple media players are installed, you can choose Windows Media Player to be your default media player for all the file types that it supports by doing the following:

In Control Panel, open Set Program Access and Defaults.
In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, in the Choose a configuration box, click Custom.
In the Choose a default media player area, click Windows Media Player, and then click OK.

Go into WMP, click on Tools, then Options. Under the File Associations tab, there should be a select all feature. Click OK when done.

If this doesn't work for some reason, use the various Help files to assist you.

About the easiest thing to do is for you to click on tools, and then internet options. From there you will find a space that shows you what your default currently is. You just have to type in what you want and click on Apply, and the next time that you open up your computer, you will get what you desire.

go and download quicktime alternative & real alternative. I hate quicktime or any program that don't even ask you if it's ok to even do that.
