It's likely the baby will have brown eyes, because genetically brown eyes are dominant. But there is a small chance that they could be blue. Remeber that when most babies are first born they will have blue eyes because they aren't developed yet.

Its a 50/50 chance man. Depends which one of your genes is the most dominate. If your genes are the most dominate then the baby will have light colored eyes but if hers are the most dominate then the baby will have dark eyes. Example my girlfriend has light hazel eyes and so does her father. The babies father has dark colored eyes but when my step-son was born he was born with Grey eyes. He got the light colored eyes from his mothers side but got the color of his eyes from his aunt whos eyes are grey as well. So all I can say is let nature take its course. All in all it will be a beautiful baby girl or boy.

that is genetic. I easily have considered it additionally. we've one horse who we agist right here who has that (wonderful isn't it!) yet another answerer defined it very properly. that is purely like having a very blue eye. they don't seem to be blind, that is whilst interior the womb, they could not make shade (like white horses) It had a a million/2 and a million/2 gene the place it could make some shade, yet not all of it. The area it did make, is the brown area. the pony we've at our good, is incredible, he's metallic gray and approximately 17hh. he's an wonderful horse. Very costly too! (hah!)

That depends on if your girlfriend has one brown and blue allele or both brown alleles. Does she have any siblings? -- if any of her siblings has blue eyes than she has one brown and one blue allele.

If she has one brown and one blue allele than you have a 50% chance of having a blue eyed baby. If she has two brown eye alleles than you have a 0% of having a blue eyed baby.

its possible if she has the resessive gene for blue eyes but from what it appears she does not. The only way to guarentee blue eyes is if both parents have blue eyes

not sure about this... but in my highschool biology class (genetics part) i think it has to do with dominant and recessive traits. however, i can't remember how those are determined. so i guess this won't help. that's all i know. buy hey! you'll be happy with either color anyway... right?
