I have always been told that fleas cannot survive in high altitudes. Does anyone know if this is a myth?

Fleas unfortunately are like cockroaches they are very diligent & for some reason tend to withstand very difficult environments, using an animals body for heat & even shelter (crawling in eyes, nose & ears) if neccesary.
They'd probably survive a neuclear bomb!!
*No... just kidding*

Wouldn't that be nice.. NO.. sorry.. that is a myth. Fleas can survive anyplace.. they can acclimate themselves to live on the moon if they had to.
