Two comments:
First, that info might be true, but I doubt it was completely and transparently honest. The DNC (nor the GOP) is not exactly above spinning the statistics. It is more likely that the truth refers to 90% of particular funds in a certain account. or 90% of funds raised from a particular source, or something more specific like that, that the DNC omitted on details. And let's be real honest. I'm not defending GOP attack ads, but in fairness, the DNC does the exact same thing. Nobody gets to pretend to be holy in this.
Secondly, as for the comments emailed to you, this person does not represent ANYTHING I stand for as a republican or as a conservative. He demonstrates that he is not thoughtful or intelligent enough to engage in the political process. Sad that we can't deny his right to vote until he demonstrates an ability to fire a brain cell rather than resorting to talking about how strangers smell. That's pretty stupid, isn't it?
I might agree in principle that DNC policies enable the terrorists, but I do not demonize people solely based on their party affiliation, but they demonize themselves based on their actions. (As in the case of your email 'friend'.) I don't think that rational and informed citizens do.

Define "attack ad" anyway. Isn't ANY political ad an attack ad? Even an ad which only touts the qualifications of a candidate without even mentioning the other party or candidate can be said to be an attack ad, because by implication, its message is that this candidate is better than any other.

Jimmy boy, why should I believe what the DNC says about the GOP? With Doctor Demento "I hate Republicans" Dean running the DNC, how can I even trust their sanity? I certainly would not be foolish enough to trust their "facts".
