i guess the church does not value life enough. but they aren't my spiritual leaders and thankfully i do not have to obey them.
EDIT
"I am against the shot being given to very young girls because it promotes sex outside of marriage. Think of it: if you didn't have sex, you would't get HPV."
okay, no offense, but thats ridiculous. young girls dont think to themselves "as soon as i get my vaccination that means i will get to have sex!" thousands of girls get pregnant every single year because they didn't use condoms even though most schools give them away like candy. what does this show? it shows that kids are going to have sex whether its safe or not. thats why adults need to be mature and GIVE them safe sex strategies so that they don't die because of it.
what you are advocating, in effect, is that young girls who have sex deserve to die if they get cervical cancer. i can't begin to describe how disgusting that is.

I haven't heard that the church is up in arms. I do know however that the more sexual partners you have and the younger you start having sex has an effect on the likelihood of getting this awful condition. I'm not sure the children having sex would ever even think of the outcome of them having sex later on in life. I think our children should be protected from this society that wants them to grow up to quickly. I hate the idea of these young girls being one night stands and being emotionally taken advantage of in their young years just for a quickie. The world would be a better place if they were free to be children.
I don't like the idea of all these jabs being put straight into the immune system. It worries me that it might be these massive medical companies just making money out of fear all over again.

Here this fact:
The best way to prevent any type of cancer is to introduce supplements that contain Vitamin B-17 which reduces the aging process and kills cancer cells. It also helps in the treatment of cancer with out using Chemotherapy, and does a better job.
So it is my opinion that you have your merits but you have to look a other treatments that prevent cancer in a natural way thus making the that Cancer vaccine about 95% more effective per year for every year you take Vitamin B-17 each day.

I think the vaccinations are a good idea. The objection might as well be lets ban women from wearing skirts because they promote promiscuity because it allows for "easy access". I think the objection is bogus right along with the objection to condoms and early education. The more informed a person is the more informed choices they can make.

A girl experiencing awakening sexuality does not think about cervical cancer. The idea of the vaccine encouraging prosmicuity is so dumb I really doubt the ones who started the objection actually believe it themselves.

You answered your own question....giving children a cervical cancer vaccine for a disease that can only be spread by intercourse judges them by saying they are not pure and assumes that girls will not maintain their virginity until marriage. Would you take a vaccine yourself for something you won't be exposed to?
How about giving the vaccine to ADULTS...that is the argument!

No, "Fireball," cervical cancer is mostly caused by HPV infection and is seen in women under 40 quite frequently.
I am against the shot being given to very young girls because it promotes sex outside of marriage. Think of it: if you didn't have sex, you would't get HPV. It's that simple. When she turns into a woman, then she can make her own medical decisions. But as long as she's a minor, she has no business getting this vaccination.
Peace.
