you'll lose some total bulk from the iron and you'll get a transfer of some bulk from the legs to the shoulders.. and overall you'll get more tone.. at first you'll think you are out of shape just because swimming uses different muscles.. but your recovery will be fast (because you are in shape from the biking) and in a few days your body will start to make the switch. swimming is one of the few things that may be a better cardio workout than biking.

I do a similar workout but i dont switch swimming for biking, i just alternate every other week, and especially in the summer when it is too hot i stay with swimming more , in the fall and winter i mountain bike for 3 to 4 hrs hardcore in a trail? are you doing road bike? or mountain. Mountain is more workout than road, you are constantly pulling and jumping obstacle... either way swimming its a good replacement for biking , good luck!
