I suggest you read "The Culture of Critique" by Kevin MacDonald.
It explores Jewish group behavioral traits in the context of evolutionary psychology. The author proposes that much of the so-called stereotypical Jewish behavior, such as ethnocentrism, aggressive pursuit of wealth and power, and the attempts of the Jews to achieve dominance over their European host populations, can best be explained as a group survival mechanism.
SO Jewish "greed" is probably a result of their evolutionary strategy honed over millennia in which they use every means at their disposal to ensure the survival of the Jewish ethnotype.
They have had to contend with being a band of roving "outsiders" who for the most part remained aloof and seperate from other cultures and refused to assimilate with the peoples of the countries wherein they dwell and have thus developed certain predatory or parasitic characteristics in order to cope with their "underdog" ethnic status.
