Will, take a look at the link I provided from Wikipedia. It states that they are spread from India not from Ukrain. BTW, where did Ukrain come from?

Yes, that's the predominant theory. The Basques, the Georgians, and the speakers of Finno-Ugric languages seem to be exceptions; their languages seem to derive from those of the pre-Indo-European inhabitants of Europe.

Not exactly. Indo-European languages probably started out some place near the present day Ukraine and spread west to Europe and east to India and Iran from there.
