I did not really even convert per se. I simply decided to take of my religion at home where I was not being given the bible in misleading ways by a nice but often misinformed pastor.I do not think there is anything wrong with someone going to church for fellowship or to get answers to their questions, it just was not working for me. I feel like I have a better, closer relationship with God now since I go directly to Him for guidance.

Born and raised Baptist. I did, however, visit a different church (same religion) when i moved away from home for a couple years. But once I moved back to the same area, I went back to the same church with my family.

Went from Roman Catholic to Episcopalian to just following the Golden Rule. And I lean towards Taoist philosophy.

My father was High Anglican. My mother was Salvation Army.
