I have Shy Bowel Syndrome (SBS), "Bashful Bowel" (or Parcopresis, as it is known in clinical circles) and "Shy Bladder" (or Paruresis). Does anyone else have these conditions? I feel so alone on this subject. Does anyone have any information on these conditions?

I CHOOSE:
not to use public restrooms.
not to have the company of anyone doing anything like putting on make up or just talking while I am in my own bathroom at home.
not to risk to leave skid marks in anyone else's bathroom.
not to flush if I was left no recourse but to go while on the phone. regarding that I also choose to pad the water as best as possible with TP to limit the sounds from the toilet water.
I made these choices and havent read up on your condition other than to see the link from Marvino's answer.
I CHOOSE not to give myself another condition or DZ, name it, claim it, or otherwise feel afflicted by making choices that BY GOD should be a natural human right.

maybe this site can help you feel more close to those who also suffer it.

relax more.. it's normal!

we all poop, fart, squeef and all!

you can get over it to a point.. you have to... you can't stay choked up in there.

i'm the opposite i love to bowel move! of course i don't do it much in public places because i find restrooms are GROSS and contaminated!

i hope this site helps.. there's thousands of sites online about this!

who knows maybe you can join a group and talk it out... :D

hey getting it out of your system is only a good thing!

you know what they say!

more room out than there is in.

i hope this helps... lighten up it's ok!

it's alright!

you're fine, we are all bags of poo! just don't hold it in.

Your too uptight & let everything bother you.
RELAX, don't be so sensitive & nit picky.
Your whole system reacts from your attitude.
Let go & you'll feel better.
