Well, by the name alone, Seattle's Best Coffee *should* have the best beans. I don't really know because I'm one of the few Seattlites who doesn't drink coffee. Word on the street is that Tully's and SBC beat out Starbucks, though.

I live in the Seattle area and to tell you the truth, I have bough coffee in many places and for the most part, they are the same.
Now I simply get them at Safeway for cheaper for the same taste as the coffee shops.

Lighthouse Coffee (based in Fremont) is the absolute best. No, I don't work for them, but we use their beans at the espresso stand where I work and people always talk about how good our coffee is. (They certainly aren't coming back for the company of my boss, who redefines the word curmudgeon.) Anyway try it. I think you'll like it.

Please DON'T support the corporate and monopolizing coffee shops. Go with a local producer - and go organic. :)
