I am having a problem. My hair is extremely dry near the bottom and difficult to style. However the top is smooth but gets extremely oily. I know its not good to wash hair daily but I have to bc of the oil. What can I do to get balanced out? I never really had this problem before. Its so frustrating!!!!!! Help please!!!!

Also not because I need a trim. I just had 4" cut off a month ago. Eeeek! I color my hair sometimes but only with temporary color. I also only blow dry two days a week (on the weekends). I try to really take good care of my hair so this is really weird.

well, the oil problem could be caused by using to much conditioner and the dry part if u use sunsilk they have different types of shampoo and condidtioner for different hair problems or u could use produst that helps dry hair. GOOD LUCK!

♥♪♦♫ the best thing that I can tell you is apply a garlic shampoo to the roots of the hair and eggs and mayo at the ends. I hope that I have helped you. or you can use a shampoo that has PH balance in it like Head and Shoulders. I hope that I have helped you.♥♪♦♫

when you are in the shower, wet your hair and add a lot of conditioner to the length of your hair (from your ears down).. then wash your scalp with shampoo while the conditioner is still on the length.. then rinse the whole thing out.. then, condition as usual.

well........ i think u need to trim, your hair if its oily up top and dry at the bottom its usually because your hair is damaged..... but once you get a trim it will even out and be just right

also you might need a good trim. Hair that dries fast and is a drier texture usually needs to be trimmed

Apply your shampoo only to the roots/scalp, and apply conditioner only to the ends.
